Advanced Bodybuilding Workout Routine

We all like to keep in shape and workout, well most of us anyway. Now for some of us we prefer the slow and smaller stages, just to give a little edge to our bodies. And there are some of us who require more advanced routines. If you are a advanced bodybuilder and we all know who they are, then you require something much more intense. Now this is just small sample of what the workout involves.

Shoulders and Abs

Military press: 4 sets 8-10 reps
Barbell front raise: 3 sets 10 reps
Dumbbell lateral raise: 4 sets 8 reps
Decline sit ups: 3 sets maximum reps Arms and Abs

Close grip bench press: 4 sets 6 reps
Triceps dip: 3 sets 10+ max
Barbell curl: 4 sets 6 to 8 reps
Dumbbell curl: 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps
Barbell wrist curl: 3 sets 10 reps
Hanging leg raise: 3 sets maximum reps

Legs and Abs

Squat: 5 sets 5-7 reps
Leg extension: 4 sets 8-12 reps
Leg curl: 4 sets 8-12 reps
Standing calf raise: 3 sets 12-20 reps
Seated calf raise: 3 sets 12-20 reps
Stomach crunch:3 sets maximum reps

Back and Abs

Barbell row: 4 sets 8 reps
Lat pull down: 4 sets 10 reps
Pullover: 3 sets 12 reps
Decline ab reach: 3 sets maximum reps

Chest and Abs

Barbell bench press: 5 sets 6-10 reps
Barbell bench press: 3 sets 8-12 reps
Peck deck: 3 sets 12-15 reps
Exercise ball crunch: 3 sets 20 reps

But the most important thing to remember about this routine is that you need to change things up a bit, or your muscles will get bored You will also need to get in an isolation exercise during the sets that you do, at least once a week. Your muscles need to be kept guessing what you will do next and this is especially vital for bodybuilders and advanced bodybuilders. For this routine do it for about 8-12 weeks and than mix it up a little bit.

The workout plan is as follows
5 days a week (Saturday and Sunday you take off)
It's for the advanced body builder
The equipment needed is the following: Barbells, bodyweight; cables and dumbbells. The exercise ball and various machines.
It can be for both men and women.

Along with the routine that you are doing you may also want to look for certain kinds of supplements. Supplements can aid in not just you body health on the inside, but as well as the outside.
